keep on working

In Australien ist mir irgendwann aufgefallen, dass ich die Schubladenausverkäufe vermisse. Überhaupt ist das spontane drucken fast ganz aus meinem Arbeitsablauf verschwunden, was schade ist aber wahrscheinlich normal, wenn das Arbeitspensum wächst.
Also habe ich überlegt, mir selbst ein Thema zu stellen und dazu einfach alles zu drucken was mir so einfällt. Auf Instagram habt ihr vielleicht schon gesehen, dass es um das Thema Essen geht. Es sind schon drei verschiedene Drucke entstanden und zwei weitere kleine Sachen sollen noch folgen, bis es dann am 16.Juni mit einem "limited edition" Sale im Online Shop losgeht.
Ich muß sagen, ich war leider nicht so spielerisch unterwegs wie ich es eigentlich erhofft hatte, aber das kann ja noch werden. Man muß einfach dranbleiben um gute Sachen zu erarbeiten – das kann man schnell vergessen.

While being on vacation in Australia I realised that I rarely print spontaneously or just for fun to test fonts or ornaments.
I decided to give myself a topic and play with it. So for the first round I started with "food" and I made some limited prints that will be available as a limited edition print sale on June 16. I didn't stepped out of my comfort zone that much concerning type setting and design but I already noticed more ideas popping up and I hopefully am more playful on the next topic. You just have to keep working to create good work. I did forget that.
