Hübsche Wände sind doch was schönes. Interessante Leuchtreklame auch. Sehr inspirierend fand ich heute früh mein Fotoarchiv durchzuschauen, hier ein paar Bilder aus New York.

Ein Samstag in Brooklyn, die Sonne knallt.. ich brauchte eine Sonnenbrille. Was tun, natürlich: Flohmarkt! Ich mußte mich arg zusammenreißen nichts großformatiges zu kaufen, dass am Ende nicht in den Koffer passt.
Danach ein Spaziergang auf der Promenade in Brooklyn Heights, mit Panoramablick auf Manhattan und Soft-Eis von einem Eis Truck. Eigentlich hätte ich gern das handgemachte Eis von der Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory gekostet, aber die Schlange war so mega lang, da sind wir lieber weiter zum Karussell geschlendert, die strahlenden Kinder (und Erwachsenen) beobachtet und im Brooklyn Bridge Park die Sonne genossen. Was für eine Aussicht! Die könnte ich jeden Samstag haben.

A saturday in Brooklyn and I needed sunglasses. So we went to see the fleamarket and I had to pull myself together from not buying stuff that doesn't fit in my suitcase. After the fleamarket we took the train to Brookly Heights and strolled down the promenade. Sadly we couldn't get the homemade ice cream at the Fulton Ferry Pier... too many people waiting in line. So we picked up a cup from an ice cream truck and went on to see Jane's Carousel with the smiling kids (and adults). Finally we relaxed at the Brooklyn Bridge Park. What a fantastic view.
