At times I want to leave just my blog link. No need for my business card. So I decided to print some cards with my bold Bodoni type in 24 pt. Actually I wanted the design in the left upper corner, but through a mistake in positioning it appeared in the bottom left. {Thinking head first and right-left reversed is a bit difficult sometimes} Well, I am sort of glad about that mistake. And to talk about the paper... mh. I like the grey the most, but will go with a mix of all.

Vintage typography is always inspiring to me, espacially on signs and documents. The design is focused on the type/logo without any additional things on top. Like that.

Nummer eins kann ich nicht empfehlen: das Marmeladenglas. Nummer zwei, die Dose mit dem Schraubverschluss, hielt den "Vertrocknungstest" nur eine Woche durch. Mein Favorit Nummer drei: eine Tasche aus Alufolie falten, Farbklecks rein, ordentlich wieder zufalten und wegpacken. Nach ein-bis zweimal auffalten zerreißt sie aber. Eine mittelprächtige Lösung...

I have one kilo of cyan, yellow, magenta, black, white and transparent white ink. I don't use Pantone, 'cause I like mixing the colours myself. But to print a series of cards I only need a little bit, so I have always some ink left and need to keep it. #1: I don't recommend the glas. #2 the little tin with the screw cap protected the ink just a week from getting dry. #3 my favorite: fold a little bag of aluminum foil, put your ink in and close it carefully. I saves the ink and I can refold it two times until the foil brakes... better ideas are welcome!

Beim Fahrrad fahren kommt man ja manchmal auf Ideen. Hier ein mehr oder minder zu Papier gebrachtes Produkt meiner Gehirnzellen während des Radelns. Das würde meine Taxi-Kosten bei der Anfahrt zu den Märkten senken und der Stand wär gleich mit drin. Zwei auf einen Streich sozusagen.
p.s. mein nächster Markt ist "Wedding Dress" am 10. und 11. Juli in der Brunnenstrasse.

That's what I had in mind lately while cycling through the city. This would save my cab costs for getting to a market. And the booth is already included. Two in one fell swoop, mmh, I'll think about it. By the way the next market is from the 10th to 11th of July during "Wedding Dress" in Berlin Wedding in Brunnenstrasse. See you :)

The new press is a Korrex proof press, type Stuttgart with a format of 13 3/4 x 17 5/16 inches. That's probably the tiniest of all Korrex presses out there, but a perfect size for me. Not too complicated, not that big and manually operated. Great. As it seems much dirty I will clean every part of it within the next weeks and slowly will get to know the press better. And I have to figure out how the whole packing thing works with that type of press. The tympan paper is already waiting...
