Die Weihnachtspost muß raus

Daher kommt meine Weihnachtspost in "normale" Hüllen mit Seidenfutter. Aber sie kriegen ein wundervolles Adress-Etikett von "bundpapier Berlin" geklebt. Die selbstklebenden Etiketten werden teilweise manufakturell hergestellt. Passt zu meine Karten, meine ich. Eigentlich wollte ich ja eigene Adress-Etiketten herstellen. Habs nicht geschafft. Umso besser für bundpapier, ich habe viel Weihnachtspost...
I love envelopes. At the moment I am not sure which is my favourite: the one made of walnut veneer or the one made of a map from northern Germany. I have to think about it... that's why my christmas cards will be send out with a "standard" coloured envelope. But I add an address sticker, which is made in berlin by "bundpapier", a manufactory. So it fits to my self printed cards, I think. Actually I wanted to print my own address stickers, but there was not enough time. Probably next year...

Riecht nach Holz, ist erstaunlich leicht und funktionert clever über die Hebelwirkung. Ich mag den Neuzugang in meiner Adana Familie sehr. Obwohl sie wesentlich kleiner ist als mein 8x5 Model, hat sie ungefähr das gleiche Druckfeld, ist aber mit viel weniger Mechanik ausgestattet. Ich werde erstmal das "Handbuch" lesen um sie auch korrekt zu setzen, sieht aber alles recht einfach aus. Und dann folgt der erste Testdruck...

Smells like wood, not that heavy and easy in handling. I love the new member of my Adana family. Although it is smaller than my 8-5 model it has nearly the same printing area but with less mechanics. I have to read the manual to set the type correctly, but it seems quite easy to me. Yay. Probably there's time to do the first print, I'll keep you up to date...

Samstag und Sonntag druckte ich gefühlte 1000 Anhängerchen und verschenkte diese an wundervolle Besucher. Vielen Dank für die strahlenden Gesichter, das viele Lob und die netten Gespräche, die mich bestätigen und gleich heute zurück ins Atelier an die Arbeit treiben. Die zahlreichen Anfragen nach individuellen Aufträgen erfordern Konzepte und auch ein paar Berliner Läden möchten meine Produkte ins Sortiment aufnehmen. Juchu! Nach holy shit ist definitiv vor holy shit, ich freue mich auf 2010! Hoffentlich habe ich dann wieder so nette Standnachbarn wie dieses Jahr, mehr dazu im nächsten Post. ;)

This weekend I printed like 1.000 little hang tags. But I had fun giving them to nice visitors who passed my booth at the "holy shit shopping market" in berlin. Thanks to all the happy faces, nice comments and inspiring discussions. Many people asked for customized cards and some shops in berlin will carry a few of my products – yeah – so this makes me going back to work today. I will definitely be part of holy shit shopping next year. More pictures later...

So, alles gezählt und verpackt und mit Sicherheit irgendetwas wichtiges vergessen... naja. Falls ihr dieses Wochenende noch auf Weihnachtsgeschenkejagd seid, kommt doch im Postbahnhof vorbei. Das Maschinchen und ich würden uns freuen.
