Mein neuester Flohmarkt Fund sind lauter Etiketten aus den Siebzigern, die sich die Schuljugend aufs Heft geklebt hat.
Rote und blaue Etiketten, gelbe, blaue und grüne Sticker, die wohl zur Verschönerung der schnöden Hausaufgaben dienten. Sie kleben, wenn man sie anleckt. Mach ich aber nicht.
Toll, oder? Für einen Euro...

My latest fleamarket find are these vintage stickers made in eastern germany during the seventies. The guy at the booth told me, he used it to pimp his exercise books at school. Isn't this paper ruler lovely? And all these stickers... I am happy. I purchased it for one Euro. Yay.

Dieses Jahr MUSS ich mir Japanese Masking Tape schenken. Heute morgen beim Kaffee habe ich schonmal in den Shops gestöbert. Ui, ich kann mich nicht entscheiden. Welches ist am schönsten? Die linierten oder das mit der Schleife oder vielleicht doch das mit den Wochentagen? ... Schade, dass ich es mal wieder aus den USA importieren muß. Oder kennt jemand einen deutschen Shop? Vielleicht auch zufällig in Berlin? Hier meine drei Favoriten: happy tape, nothingelegant und Uguisu
I could die for japanese masking tape. This year I have to make it as a gift for myself. (To be sure, that I really get this at christmas) Today I browsed through my favourite shops while having breakfast. Hard to decide which one I should choose, the lined ones or the one with the handwritten days? Sadly I have to order it from the US or does anyone know a german shop that carries these wonderful-fabulous-adorable-must-have (and so on) masking tapes? Well, if I had a shop... you know...

Seit 3 Tagen vermisse ich meine Schere. Ich habe nämlich nur eine daher ist es unpraktisch, wenn sie fehlt. Gestern Abend habe ich dann ein wenig aufgeräumt. Es türmte sich ein Bücherstapel auf dem Schreibtisch, der eigentlich ins Regal gehört. Und schwupps, da war sie die Schere. Sie hatte sich in mein Lieblingsbuch geschlichen, dass ich mal wieder hervorgeholt hatte. Es ist für mich immer eine Inspirationsquelle, und da ich es hier noch nie gezeigt habe tue ich das jetzt:

For the last three days I missed my scissors. This was a little disaster, 'cause I have just one in my studio. So yesterday I tidied up a bit and tadaa: there it was; hidden in my fav book which I took out for a while to flip trough it again. It's always an inspiration to me and I haven't shown it here so I thought it would be great to do it today. For creative weekend projects ;)
