Als hätte ein Atelierkollege ihre Rufe gehört klopfte er heute mit seinem tollen Schrank bei mir an. Eigentlich ist es ein Wagen, ein ehemaliger Stationswagen aus der Berliner Charité, den er nicht mehr braucht. Leider nur vorübergehend, aber darüber reden wir noch ;) Nun steht er bei mir und wird am Wochenende eingeräumt. Dann gibt es auch Fotos.

It's time for the weekly studio round-up. It was a chaotic week and it is a bit messy here. Paper is laying around and letters are crying for their typecase. This evening one of my studio colleagues knocked on my door and brought his locker with him. He asked, if I want to take care of it for a while. {Me: ???} Definitely YES. It would be a great composing desk. It is like a locker on rolls and it was used in the hospital of berlin to bring food and medications to the patients. Sorry, I don't know the english word. I am so happy I'll run back to the studio tomorrow to clean and load it. Pictures are coming soon...

It is all so cluttered here, finding my little consonants amongst grommets, paper snippets and metal bookcorners was a hard challenge today. I have to look for some boxes at the weekend to store all stuff in a more proper way. Today I had fun printing the labels for these boxes with funny german words. In general they mean the same: stuff

I have to pack my bags in December. My press and me have to get ready for a trip to spread the lovely stuff, and yes, we are excited. Where and wherefore I will tell next week. It's all thrilling... :)
Es wird langsam weihnachtlich im Atelier. Wird ja auch schon knapp mit der Zeit. Allerdings fange ich beim drucken und werkeln an Weihnachtslieder zu summen, das ist kein so guter Nebeneffekt. Alles andere fühlt sich aber ganz gut an. Hier ein klein wenig zum gucken:

It's Christmas Time in my studio. Just a few weeks to go and the products have to be ready to go out. Yay. But I found myself humming some christmas melodies during printing and crafting... and that's really a way too much. I mean eating Lebkuchen is enough in november.

I missed the great Illustration Show "Illustrative". Now it is over. Uuuh. Think it was nice, look at these interesting pictures. Can't believe I missed it. Try it next time, but when will it be? Anyone knows?
