Yeehaw!

11.03.2010

In January I bought a lead type: Magnet. I love retro and funny types and couldn't resist its slab serifs.  A few weeks later I noticed some Lucky Luke comics in our shelf while cleaning – J. collected comics as he was young – and the idea of western-style cards was born. So I used the type for a two-colour card series "Post from the wild West"

  1. love it! I did have the chance to buy a similar font but resisted because I didn't think I'd ever use it. It is such a fun font!

  2. Thanks. But maybe you could use it for stationery for men ;) You are right, it is difficult with fun fonts. I bought the Reporter in large wooden letters last year. I love that type and its look, but never used it ... sad.
